Instructions a robot can follow

An algorithm is a clear list of steps.

Good steps are specific: “Pour water into the cup” is better than “Do the plant thing”.

Order matters. You cannot pour from an empty cup.

Write the steps for making a simple sandwich. Ask someone to follow them exactly. Improve any step that was confusing.
